Dolce Vita facing the UNESCO World Heritage Würzburg Residence since 1981
With the opening of our Italian Café near the Residence, 2016 a little dream came true for us. The idea to bring an Italian street café to Würzburg, in which not only coffee but also authentic Italian drinks, food and pastry specialities are offered, appealed to us so much that we put them directly into action.
No sooner said than done, with the private roaster Ottolina from Milan now the third largest coffee importer in Italy, we have found a partner who cares about quality, just as we care about it.
Since then everyone, whether large or small, whether from here or out of town, can take a short break in our café and perhaps even get in the mood for their next holiday in Italy. In summer you can look forward to outdoor seating in the smallest pedestrian zone in the city, with a direct view to the residence.
Davide, our barista and heart of the Ottolina, delights our guests with cold and warm drinks, depending on the season. For him, the quality of the products comes first. Sustainability is also very important to us in Ottolina; in addition to organic products, we also stock coffee which has been certified by the Rainforest Alliance. This seal stands for sustainably grown coffee in the tropics.
